Current tools like MS-Teams, Slack etc have a coherence problem: members in groups on these kind of platforms can post text about anything, in any style, very similar to an email communication. It can be too long. Or too short. It can be well-structured or unstructured. It can use big words, acronyms, etc. It can be coherent or incoherent. Key details can be missing, or be hidden under a link.
The level of coherence all depends on the author of the post. Writing styles can vary considerably from person to person. For the reader, taken together, all this variation of form and content means considerable cognitive load. Excess cognitive load consumes human energy and creates waste. Energy and focus spent interpreting and making meaning of text communication is not available for goal-seeking effort. For desired outcomes. For progress towards objectives.
Open At Scale’s Beacon™ product solves for the incoherence problem.
